Care Loop
Food raises hunger, play raises fun, gifts restore HP, and the three stats decay while the game is running.
A virtual-pet game developed for Game Boy Advance. Adopt a Milady or Remilio, manage their stats, earn $CULT, visit the Konbini, and play the Beetleboy minigames. Version 1.4 is the final GBA release.
Version 1.4 finalized the existing game rather than changing its scope. The release addresses the care loop, audio playback, shared-palette conflicts, crowded menus, and on-screen prompts that did not match the active controls.
Food raises hunger, play raises fun, gifts restore HP, and the three stats decay while the game is running.
Mode 4 gives the screen one 256-color palette. Portrait colors that collided with UI entries are now remapped when an image loads.
START opens the title prompt, A confirms, B goes back, and L/R/SELECT appear only in the screens that use them.
The title and cheese tracks play through timer-driven Direct Sound. Button and interface sounds stay on the PSG channels.
Captured from the current build at the GBA’s native 240x160 resolution.
Earlier ROMs remain available for release comparison and compatibility checks with existing save data.
The browser ROM, main download, and v1.4 archive copy are byte-for-byte identical. SHA-256: e4d623bbaff42eb05977cdb293e7beb3bfc0faef21328ca79ca8e406caa9366d
